The Face of a Bean
I previously wrote about the heart of our bean - today, I reveal the face of our bean. Kinda scary, right?
Not only do we have pictures, but we also have a gender - it’s a girl.
Not only is it a girl, but she’s already starting to take after her old man - she has humongous feet. I mean, gigantic. Enormous. Seriously, the doctor even agreed with me - they’re massive.
I was kinda rooting for a boy, but I secretly knew it would turn out to be a girl. It really doesn’t make a difference to me, as long as she’s healthy, which she seems to be based on how much she was moving during the ultrasound. All I know is, the third trimester is gonna be more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
We’re still having a hard time coming up with names - at least, now that we know the sex, we can narrow the field down by that much. We have a few criterions for names:
- No neo-hippy trendy names. Scout and Apple, I’m lookin’ at you.
- No super popular names. Jennifer, Jessica, Erin, and Katie are right out.
- Probably no traditional/family names. Sorry Granny, but we’re gonna have to break the Lee tradition.

- No names of people we knew/know relatively well. Which is, pretty much, every name you can think of.
So, basically, we’re looking for names that no one can pronounce and are only spoken in fictional languages like Klingon, Ferengi, and Elven. Ideas are welcome.

Congratulations!!!! Another grand - daughter for me!!!! I’ll be totally broke buying for a granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters. I like the name Evangline that you mentioned previously. How about Madeline? You don’t hear that often or Deanna (Dean for Dean and the na from Christina). I’ll have to work on this. I’ll send more suggestions later. Love you!

Although I see nothing wrong with the name “Katie”, I do see your point about traditional. I forgive you for making me seem boring. Just kiddin! Congratulations on a GIRL! I’m sure you and Christina will figure out a beautiful name for the lil miss.
