Primatech Paper - Since 1962
Everyone who watched Heroes tonight undoubtedly noticed the business card exchange from Mr Bennet (the “bad guy”) and Mohinder Suresh. Did any of you care to take note of the website and phone number on the card? No? Well, I did. Here’s what I found.
The website for the company on the business card was primatechpaper.com. At first, I was like “Primate CH Paper? What the hell is that?” Then I went to the website and felt dumb - “Primatech Paper” is the name of the company, the beard that hides the face of Mr Bennet’s secret organization. The logo of the company, as seen here, is really well done - retro, cool, and professional. (Who else thinks that this logo would make an awesome T-shirt?!) You can look around the website, but there’s not much to see… unless you call them.
Upon calling 800-PRIMA-16 you’re greeted by another well executed platform, this time in the form of a business phone directory - press 1 for Sales, press 2 for Shipping, press 3 for Personnel. Prompts 1 and 2 give you an all agents are busy, try again later type of message; prompt 3, however, gives you a job code. Go to the Jobs section of the Primatech website and plug in the code “mt36″, and you’re taken to an application page. Yeah, application, as in a job (however, somewhat unfortunately, it’s not a real job). The application asks for all of your personal residential information. I tried to skip providing my phone number, but the system wasn’t going for it. I coulda put in a fake number but, being the Heroes fan that I am, I opted to go for the real thing in hopes that I might get a recorded call or some other cool tidbit.
It’s been about 15 minutes now and I haven’t received a phone call, but I did get an email from Primatech:
Thank you for your interest in Primatech Paper. We will be in contact once we evaluate your application.
Yeah it’s kinda lame, but I think the whole concept of developing a fanbase in show-based websites is really cool. I’m hopeful that they’ll do something cool with this. The only thing I’m thinking about now is what I put for my application. At the bottom of the application is a short personality test that basically asks, “Are you a nice guy, a jerk, or indifferent?” I think I leaned towards the nice guy/indifferent genre, but perhaps I would’ve received a different response had I indicated that I was more of the jerkish variety?
I also opted to get text messages from Primatech, which told me:
You’ll be hearing from me again soon. We have a lot to do together.
Very cool.
I loved tonight’s episode. The characters are so interesting, and I LMAO’d when Hiro saw Nathan Petrelli and exclaimed, “Fly man!” Also, I find myself liking Claire’s character more and more. I thought she was somewhat bland in the beginning, but I think her character’s personality is finally starting to come through. I really like the relationship between Claire and “the Haitian”, and I’d like to see more of what he’s got to offer.

I just got an email from them saying
Unfortunately, after reviewing your submission, we don’t have any openings that match your skill-set at this time. You are always welcome to re-apply at a later date.

Wow, that’s awesome! I mean, it sucks that you were rejected, but I got an email this morning as well, stating:
It’s cool that they’re being quasi (randomly) selective about who gets “in”, but fear not - I’ll post everything I’m allowed to post here for you to see.

I just got a text from them that told me to go to thier website (http://www.primatechpaper.com) and “find helix, the key to the rabbit hole” and then gave me a username and password…now I’ve been all over the website and haven’t seen anything regarding a ‘helix’ even examined the sites code..wonder if they just haven’t added it yet.
Will keep updating as it goes!

The helix is hidden in the Primatech logo pic. Once you click it I input the username and password. After that a page opens up from beneath the Primatech page titled:
Assignment Tracker
Group C3
Unfortunately it looks like I need more usernames/passwords to get any further since the first one doesn’t allow me any further.

ok, So from the text you get, once you login, there are 3 case files, the first one for Hana Gitelman (whose code is in the text, and also on the top left corner of the human diagram with apparent medical jargon)
On her bio you notice certain letters highlighted, if you get them, they form the code for Sylar (also in the top left corner)
His folder is the bottom of the 4, so there are two ‘unknowns’ at this time, will continue to update

Hi there. Need help. Looked in Hana’s file and got the highlighted letters - GGe81zU? Was this correct? Or am I completely jumping the shark here?

I was examining the source code on PrimatechPaper.com and found a javascript that I thought might have more info. It doesn’t reveal any secrets, but it did have a link to 9thwonders.com which is the “official/unofficial fansite for Heroes”. In the forums, a user named Prodigy wrote a very nice guide to accessing the password-protected info:
There’s really not a whole lot to look at, but it gives us a glimpse at an upcoming character named Hana Gitelman.

Thanks! Keep updated on any further news!

I got an e-mail from what looks to be Hana. It says:
Want to try to get into his files too? Go to primatechpaper.com, find the helix hidden in the logo on the ‘About us’ page.
Enter the username bennet and password claire. The password to get into my file is HGghx11a. Get 2 know me.
Any of you guys get this? I didn’t receive anything about the application yet. ???

I’m getting a “403 Forbidden” message when I try to get in to C003 (which is the only file that doesn’t prompt me for my password over and over again). Has anyone been able to get in yet? Maybe we have to wait until after tonight’s episode?

To FYI:
Dude, I’ve seen you post on like, 4 forums like this one. All about heroes. What’s your deal?
February 9th, 2007 at 9:38 am
Those blogs don’t even look official. Give me a break, man!

I’ve noticed “FYI” posting that everywhere too. I’d like to say that I haven’t endorsed his/her spamming. Burnt Toast Diner is my site, and it is not an official NBC site. It’s a humorous one with parody-like blogs for the characters, and some user-created ones.

Oh, okay. If it was meant ot be a joke than I’m sorry. My bad.
