From what I understand, it supports 480i/p, 720p, and 1080p; however, it displays 720p (according to <a href="http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_techspecs_full.php/masterid=19325745" rel="nofollow">the specs</a>) so it must down-convert 1080p. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding... *...researching...* ...Now that I've look into the specs more, since it has a 1280x720 resolution, it must down the 1080 to display as 720.
