Rip and Burn CDs

April 29th, 2006 Tagged with , |

CDex allows you to take the tracks from your CDs and transfer them - rip them - onto your computer. Setting it up the way you want it can be a little confusing but it’s super easy to use once you get past that. CDex will turn you into a CD ripping machine in no time. Keep in mind that CDex will only rip CDs so if you want to burn CDs then use DeepBurner.

DeepBurner is a pretty straight-forward CD burner. When you start DeepBurner it’ll ask you if you want to create a data CD (good for burning a CD of MP3s and other computer files); create an audio CD (for converting your MP3s to a regular audio CD format to use for a standard CD player). Pick the right option and then it’s just a matter of drag-and-dropping files from your My Music folder into DeepBurner.

When you’re done making your CD, you’ll wanna make it pretty, right? Of course! Try UnderCoverXP. It’s very basic, but that’s part of its appeal. Simply insert the image you want to use and print it. UnderCoverXP automatically detects how you want to use the print (CD, DVD, video game, etc) or you can select for yourself if needed.
